Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas said he was pleased with his visits to Syria and Beirut, where he met with the countries’ prime ministers and officials of local Palestinian factions.
Arab Knesset Member Talab El-Sana (United Arab List), who had met with Abbas in Jordan during the weekend, said Abbas claimed that due to the improving relations between the PA and Lebanon, there is a good chance a PLO embassy would soon be established in Beirut. (Roee Nahmias)
