The IDF’s Southern Command Chief has activated the “closed military zone” decree on the “Maoz Hayam” hotel in Gush Katif. The decree was activated two days ago. It forbids civilians from entering or exiting the area around the hotel.
The IDFsaid that there is no connection between the decree and intentions to act against extreme right-wing activists that are barricaded in the hotel. (Roni Sofer)
