Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails have started a one-day hunger strike ahead of the Sharon-Abbas summit Tuesday.
A prisoner representative at Megiddo prison told Ynet the strike was meant to emphasize the question of releasing more prisoners must be a top priority. The representative added prisoners continue to support the lull in violence and condemn the latest Palestinian attacks. (Ali Waked)
