Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit told Vice Premier Shimon Peres he supports the “politicization” of Hamas and its entrance into a Palestinian unity government.
Peres said in response the problem is that Israel cannot hold talks with Hamas as long as the group carries arms. (Diana Bahur-Nir)
