Internal Security Minister Gidon Ezra said Thursday that security prisoners at Megiddo Prison may have defaced their own Korans, and not Israeli prison guards as previously reported. He said prisoners built a cardboard replica of Jerusalem's al-Aqsa Mosque and taped Koranic verses to the model, and stressed there has been no insult to Islam at the prison. (Efrat Weiss)
