The Foreign Ministry said on Thursday it has protested increasing EU contacts with the Hamas militant group, saying it is pressing EU officials to maintain their official designation of Hamas as a terrorist group. Hamas representatives confirmed on Thursday that they are in contact with EU diplomats, which the EU confirmed. (AP)
