An explosion echoed across the industrial Iranian town of Karaj, just west of Tehran, on Monday, an official in the office of the capital's governor said.
He had no word on the cause of the blast, which occurred a day after a string of bomb blasts in Tehran and the southwestern oil city of Ahwaz killed nine people and wounded more than 70. (Reuters)
