JERUSALEM - About 150 right-wing activists demonstrated outside a Jerusalem police station Monday to protest the arrest of two activists suspected of rebellion.

According to police officials, the protesters attempted to block the entrance to police district headquarters.

Five activists were taken in for questioning and four policemen were lightly injured.

Furthermore, in a bid to stop the planned disengagement from the Gaza strip and parts of the West Bank, activists have now begun distributing booklets nationwide entitled “What the nation doesn’t want - will not happen!”

“(Prime Minister) Arik Sharon is only human, his government and tyranny are subject to objection,” the booklet says. “The sword has been hoisted above all our heads. Therefore, we must arrange an uprising, organize a struggle to save Gush Katif, in order to save us all!”

The activists also criticize Sharon's treatment of his own party members.

"His (Sharon) actions contradict the platform upon which he was voted,” the booklet says, adding that Sharon "disparages his party that has objected, by a majority, to the disengagement and has fired ministers that have refused to accept it. “

'Justice is on our side'

According to the booklet, the police and IDF soldiers are unmotivated.

“They are sent to carry out an operation that most do not identify with,” the booklet says. “They are meant to break the hands and legs of children and mothers, drag Jews from synagogues and exhume the dead from their graves.”

The booklet also says that the commanding officers are aware of  these "terrible actions” and are therefore investing resources in psychological help for the evacuators - police officers and IDF soldiers.

“We on the other hand, are backed by morality and ideology, justice is on our side,” the activists write in the booklet. “We are fighting to save the country from disaster, and for this we are prepared to suffer under difficult conditions, endure beatings and mass arrests.”

The booklet also calls for activists to assist in blocking highways and to think of other ways to disrupt the country’s daily routine without endangering its citizens.
