The government will vote on Sunday what status to give to children of foreign workers living in Israel after a ministerial committee examining the issue refused to make a decision.
If the vote goes the way of Interior Minister Ophir Paz-Pines’s, then 1,500 foreign children out of a total of 8,000 people will get permanent residency status. (Doron Sheffer)
