WASHINGTON, D.C. – The America Israel Public Affairs Committee, the leading U.S. pro-Israel lobby, is showing its support for Israel’s disengagement plan from Gaza and four communities in the West Bank.
The group featured a sympathetic film about the pullout and a speech by Justice Minister Tzipi Livni, a backer of the plan, at the opening of the group's annual convention, which is expected to draw more than 5,000 delegates. (Alan D. Abbey)
