The Tel Aviv Magistrates Court offered the Agriculture Ministry and Let Animals Live a compromise offer regarding the puppies that were smuggled into Israel from Uzbekistan recently.
The offer states that the dogs would remain in the country under quarantine for an additional five months, and Let Animal Live would finance their treatment.
The court is expected to reach its final decision on the matter Thursday. (Vered Luvitch)
