Shalom, Turkish PM meet in Jerusalem
Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom is meeting with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Jerusalem.
“Turkey can greatly assist in re-establishing relations between Israel and the Arab world and in strengthening stability in our region,” Shalom said during the meeting.
Erdogan said Turkey is interested in helping to take advantage of the political opportunity that has been created and in strengthening and expanding economic relations with Israel. (Doron Sheffer)
